Fun With Numbers--Travel Bug Hotel Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

MN.Fruitcake: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

***NOTE: If you have any questions, do not reply to the archive note email. Click on the link to go to the cache page and click on my name in the archive log at the bottom of the page. You can then send me an email regarding the cache. Please send me a link to the cache in question so I will know which cache it is regarding. I will not see notes posted to this cache page once it is archived.

Thanks for your understanding,

Geocache Description:

The cache is at the posted coordinates.

Information you will need to obtain a smiley for Fun with Numbers:

 Travel Bug Hotel.

            1.  Know your Prime Numbers

            2.  Know what the Fibonacci sequence is and have a source.

When you first arrive at the coordinates, you will need to figure out how to get into the cache.  All information to do this is located on site.

The Fibonacci numbers are a sequence of integers, starting with 0, 1 and continuing 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, ..., each new number being the sum of the previous two. The Fibonacci numbers, and in conjunction the golden ratio, are a popular theme in culture. They have been mentioned in novels, films, television shows, and songs. The numbers have also been used in the creation of music, visual art, and architecture.

To open the cache and sign the proper log you must first solve the code.  The code is embedded within the Fibonacci sequence itself.  It is the first eight digit number in the sequence.  (It begins with the number ONE).  It is also the 36th number in the sequence.  So get out your calculators and start adding or use any other means to obtain the code.

Thanks and have fun with this!
