Trash to Cache Event Cache

August it the month for the 7 souviners and an event cache is on the list....So let's get together and share our "White elephant" cache containers!

This event will be held at Prairie Park Shelter in Litchfield,  August 16th at 11:00 AM to 12;30PM.

Let's talk about ones we have seen on the hunts! The ones you are dreaming of! The ones we may have made and placed or that we are carrying around while looking for that perfect spot to place a cache! Whether you have placed a cache or not, this is a great event to attend!! Meet and share a good time with fellow cachers.Where do you get your cache containers? What types are your favorite to find? What kind of white elephant items do you have in your possesion? ((White elephant = unwanted, un-used items, containers, jars, toys, you name it)) We have all geocached and seen all types of containers from peanut butter jars to pill bottles. I want you to think creatively and bring and item that you think would be an awesome cache container, you can turn it into a full blow cache container and fill it with a log, pencil and goodies or just bring the item for a maker to turn into a cache! Place your item in a bag, be prepared to bring something you are willing to part with, we will shake dice to see who gets to take which bag home!! If you don't want to place a cache you can share the cache container you win with a fellow cache maker.

I am currently trying to decide what to do for food and am open to ideas. Order Pizza? Potluck? Donuts and Rolls? Subway sandwiches? Please add your choice or idea to your response. I will post a note when it gets closer to event time as to what we will be doing. I will also have door prizes and if anyone is interested can share some too!
