How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Meeting at Crossroads Assisted Living Activity Room - 2 to 4 pm - come and go. Video presentation of GSAK (Geocachers Swiss Army Knife) which is a nifty program to help organize and track your pocket queries, GPS, finds, logs, etc. Several new multis, puzzlers, & a LB hybrid to be published in the area prior to the event to help earn your 7 of August souvenir. Door prizes, activities and several new regular local caches to be published day OF the event. For newbie and pro alike.

Please log your intent of coming as quickly as possible so we will have an idea of how many to plan for. To add to the venue and help keep costs down; bringing cookies, vegi platters, snacks and sodas would be great!

If you plan to bring more than a couple of TBs to be discovered by others, please write out the Tracking Numbers and make multiple copies to hand out (i.e. In Word do a Copy, Paste, Paste, Paste . . .) as this makes for much less confusion and lost time. We will have a TB bucket in which to drop and trade TBs. All left over TBs will feed into our "Sunset Valley TB Ranch" Hotel or a couple other needy TB hotels we know of.

Please bring samples of your favorite caches/builds along with your TOTT kit for show and tell

As programing and specific schedule become available, it will be published here.
