Kettle Moraine State Forest - Lapham Peak Unit The park is located 3/4 mile south of I-94 on County Hwy C (Delafield exit). The main attraction of the park is the 45 foot observation tower atop the highest point in Waukesha County. The park’s glaciated topography provides excellent hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing on the lighted trails.
*****Lapham Peak does require a state park admission sticker or daily pass to enter the park.*****
There are currently many caches in the park, keep your eyes open for new caches placed for the picnic. The fall colors will make this a beautiful place to get out and cache. And don't forget to make a visit to the park's tower to see the fall colors from above the trees.
