Plan to park in the day use recreation area at the north end of the lake. This is a favorite spot for picnics, swimming, finding frogs and snails as well as fishing the Rainbow Trout that are stocked in the lake.
You will be walking along the lake shore to the Cache where it would be normal to find people casting and watching the fish follow their lures hoping for a bite!
Hopefully you take the opportunity to cast a couple times yourself!
