The cache location offers views across to Skye and beyond and an opportunity to enjoy watching the local wildlife.
Situated on a peninsula within the small community of Geocrab this location offers superb views over the Little Minch towards Skye and beyond. At the appropriate time of the year grey seals and their pups can be seen on the rocks in the middle of the surrounding sea lochs. Arctic Terns are also a common sight. Access to the cache is via a single track road with passsing places. N.B. Parking in one of these will incur the wrath of the locals and inconvenience other road users. After parking safely, you will need stout footwear or wellies to get to the cache, as after heavy rain, some areas in the hollows between the rocks can get boggy. The cache is a 140mm round container with a few swaps to start things off.
