The event time is 2000 until 2100. We will leave promptly at 2000 (8:00 PM) (butt on seat time) from the parking lot at the swimming pool and pavilion by the campground. The sun will be set well before the start time. You will have time to view and photograph before the ride but that is on your own time and NOT a part of this event. Helmets are hightly encouraged but not required.
We will take a tour of the top of the mountain which will include both Sunrise and Sunset Points. You must be able to climb the small hills on this short route which will include all of the paved roads on top of the mountain. If anyone wants to make a second or third loop with me, you will be most welcome.
IMPORTANT!: You will be responsible for your own headlight (and taillight if you so desire). You will not need much of a light as the hazards will be few. An LED headlight should suffice. The night will be dark as the this will be two full weeks past the full moon.
There will be no planned threats to our fun. This will be a rain or shine event. We will have a log to sign for the event.
PS: Please be welcome to bring any snacks for after the ride. We can sit around the cachemobiles if the weather is nice until the park closes at 2200 (10:00 PM). .
