Welcome to the celebration of the tenth annual Allegany State Park GeoBash! Ten years ago a small group of geocachers decided to get together for a picnic in their favorite State Park. Everyone had such a good time they all said they should do it again next year, and it just grew and grew from there. By the third year attendance had grown to Mega proportions and has remained so with over 1000 attendees last year alone!

Allegany State Park is beautiful all year 'round, but springtime is an extra special season. The trees, the animals, and the flowers are all things that are part of the GeoBash experience. There are many beautiful spots in the park and it's no coincidence that there are geocaches located in strategic spots all over the park. We'll start the weekend off with our Meet & Greet Bonfire event Friday nite which will include a Native American storyteller, hosted by The Allegheny Rangers. There will more than likely be a Flash Mob event in nearby Bradford, Pa. Friday as well. Saturday the ASPGB X event will take place at Camp Allegany. We have plenty of activities planned like a pinata, Yogi the clown, Signal the frog, seminars, contests, and of course our silent auction. Along with lots of new geocaches it should be a busy weekend. Sunday we like to provide FREE pancake & sausage breakfast to get everyone up and going, and then there will be a CITO event to make sure we leave the park as nice IF NOT NICER than we found it. Come and stay the weekend or the day and be part of our 10th celebration!
