Join us for the 21st semi-annual San Rafael event, a tradition started by DeViDe! We'll be camped for the weekend near the junction of Temple Mountain Road and Goblin Valley Road. Feel free to join in for the entire weekend, or just a full day or evening. There will be a potluck dinner on Saturday, October 25th, at 6:00PM, so bring a dish to share and come join in on the fun!
We'll have an easy group hike or scenic drive on Saturday. See you all there!
Geocaching Poker Run: On Saturday there will be a poker run with seven temporary caches to find nearby. See me on Saturday morning or, if I'm not at camp, pick up a score card from the envelope taped to the picnic table outside my camp trailer. The score cards have coordinates for each of the seven caches and a spot to place a sticker retrieved from each. Beginning at 5:00PM you can trade each of your stickers for a playing card and try making the best five-card poker hand. We'll compare poker hands at 5:45PM and there will be a prize for each of the three best hands!
