Long Point Traditional Cache

Point Au Roche is a beautiful state park on the shores of Lake Champlain.  The parking area listed is for the Wildlife Center, and is the parking area for several trailheads as well as my cache, Point Au Roche Suites (Multicache), and a few other geocaches as well.  The park offers several nice hiking/biking trails, fishing in the different bays, and a great beach with brand new playground.  There is no fee from my listed parking area, though if you want to park at the beach parking you will pay a day use fee (See map).

To find this cache you will need to hike or bike to the end of Long Point, which is less than 1.5 miles one way.  The cache container is a small camouflaged loc n’ loc with some swag for the kids and room for a TB or two.
