In 2007 there was a series of caches placed in beacons that were not the common beacons that they have become. The series was called “The Urban Micro Series” but was better known as “The Cockroach Series”.
Original Description:
“A horrible experiment gone wrong suddenly became worse when the only survivors of prolonged radiation testing liberated themselves from the lab. The Roach family cleverly disguised themselves, then escaped on the bumper of a delivery truck bound for Woodbury. They were ejected at the first speed bump and scattered to find refuge from the oncoming storm. True to cockroach instincts, they crawled up, under and inside anything they could find for shelter.”
While the original series has long since gone, we recently discovered that they were not completely eradicated. Some were still laying low in their original locations. Since the containers were there and the locations were still available we simply replaced the log, set them free, and bring them back to you.
For those who remember the original series, this will be a trip down memory lane. For the rest of you, they are just another P&G for you to fill your grid, keep your streak alive, add to your numbers, or whatever you do with these.
