Dark & Black Caches on Indian Creek #4 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Black Chrome:
After much consideration Darksky1 and myself have decided to archive this series of paddle caches. The White River is simply too volatile. Extreme highs and lows have the river constantly changing. This constant change means that whatever structure the caches were secured to are gone most of the time when we try to maintain the series as well as the caches themselves. Thanks to all who came and found these and also to those who were interested but didn’t get the chance to come find them as well.

Geocache Description:

This is a series of paddle caches along a stretch of Indian Creek. We launched at the bridge over Indian creek just off of the county road. Plentiful parking is available here. It's not an ideal spot but it worked out decent with kayaks. Rope tied to your kayak would be advised for this launch site. We took out at the public access site on old US50 in Maysville. Total float was about 14.3, there are 5 caches on Indian Creek and an additional 84 on the White River if you continue downstream. Tweezers will be helpful.

You are looking for a camo preform container along Indian Creek. Please beware of the Asian Carp, when spooked they can literally be 5 - 10lb torpedoes! A watercraft is a must & please follow all DNR rules.
