It's easy to find statues of Baseball Hall-of-famers if you go to a
Major League baseball park or to the National Baseball Hall of Fame
in Cooperstown New York. It's a lot harder to find statues that
aren't associated with a park or the hall of fame.
Your mission is to find and photograph a verifiable statue of
any Major League Baseball Hall-of-Fame inductee that is more than
one mile away from any MLB ball park and more than one mile away
from the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
You must include your GPSR in the photograph and you must submit
the coordinates of the statue.
As always, only one log entry per geocacher and only one log
entry per statue.
Oh, and if you're in the San Francisco Bay area, you can't claim
the statue at the cache coordinates. Willy Mays is one of the
greatest, but the statue is right in front of the ball park.
