This trail is probably in its final years as an official trail. A new access is in development from the other side of the mountain to the Mid State trail. It will be a much easier, though longer trail.
The name of this cache is significant because students at Park Forest Middle School (PFMS) placed it with me on a trip to do trail maintenance on the Mid State Trail. They did a great job. Go ahead and hike to the top and head north, They have begun moving the Tuscarora and Juniata sandstone chunks to make a more enjoyable walking experience.
