"R U A TOWNIE?" Transfig/Elm Theater Traditional Geocache

Did you grow up in the Wauconda/Island Lake area? Then you are sure to recall Transfiguration School and in front of it -the Elm Theater.

Good ol' Transfig.  The 'catlicks.' Run,run, run I think I hear a nun! Not to mention home of the Six foot Penguin...anyway- the parish has been around for a long long time, the school since the 50's.  had friends who worked at the Theater. Cheap tickets, sticky floors, but we didn't care. Alongside the theater was a pet store called House of Pisces- Townies know this stuff!
