Urban Wild Boar Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Walkingadventure: The new Rocket Pond plans showed this tree stand would stay. Guess the construction thought differently. As I came home today, the row of trees had been removed.

Geocache Description:

Several years ago there were numerous sightings by the neighbors of a potbellied piglet or wild boar piglet crossing the street back and forth. I decided to take matters into my own hands and set a live trap to catch the animal.

I set the trap and returned the next day...Victory!

I had caught a ...opossum. Being smart enough to know opossums are less than cordial in polite society, I went home to have my son help me release it from the cage. My reasoning was there was a 50/50 chance it would chase me since there was another person along. We opened the cage and away the possum staggered- no vicious attacks, no hissing and I wasn't forced to throw my son in front of me to save my own life.

BTW opossums stink and when they are stuck in the cage, it too, then reeks. I made my son hold it on his lap for the ride home.

End story- never caught the piglet. Everything here is a true story. My life is an adventure. This is the area that I set the trap years ago.

The fields to the east and west of this strip of trees is owned by the Neenah School District. Rumors had been this land was purchased with the thought of a 2nd High School which would explain the wide 2 lane street of West American. Parking is legal and encouraged along either Westbound or Eastbound West American.

You are looking for a painted bison tube.
