Geocache Description:

Well here we are at the end of the Montrose trail, next stop.. East West trail.

Tasmania has had a long history with rail transport, from the early convict powered tramways, to the Diesel trains we have today. The Tasmanian Government Railways (TGR) had a vast range of motive power and rollingstock, including many steam and latterly diesel locomotives and railmotors. Throughout the history of the TGR, the company set a number of milestones in railways, including being the first operator of mainline diesel locomotives in Australia. By 1949 an extensive rail line network was operational with 284 stations and 11 junctions.

One could I suppose rock up the the junction of our trail and hope for a lucky find, or you could create a list and figure the coords out.

Junctions are as follows (not in order)

Lemana
Claremont
Conara
Bridgewater
Derwent Park
Ulverstone
Brighton
Parattah
Don
Railton
