PLEASE LET ME KNOW AT LEAST THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE RACE! THIS WILL HELP ME ORGANIZE THE EVENT AND HELP ME JUDGE START/STOP TIMES. YOU MAY STILL COME TO THE EVENT AND HANG OUT EVEN IF YOU AREN'T RACING.
Obviously this event is a race for geocachers. Please get into teams of 2-4, and choose the time that you would like to race. Teams will be released every 15 minutes starting at 10:00 and ending at 12 (I'll add more slots if these fill up). Please try to race as early as you can, it will make things go much more smoothly if everyone is released close together. Once you have all of that figured out, contact me (OpenKerley) or leave a note on the cache page letting us know who is on your team and what time you would like to race. First come, first serve.
This is a meet-n'-greet style event for everyone if you do not wish to race, do not have enough time to race, or show up last minute just to hang out and see everyone. Come have some fun! Maybe find a cache or two in the park with some new friends! Isn't that what events are for?
