Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the listed coordinates.

The Montrose List caches have filled the Montrose Trail—very pleasing. We now can turn left and make use of the East West Trail. This trail initially goes in a southerly direction and then becomes more westerly and continues for almost 20 km until it joins the Jefferys Trail. Room to spread out and place quite a few caches along the way! (Turning right onto the the East West Trail and travelling a bit over a kilometre will take you to the top of Goat Hills for views and the Big Woks cache.) After slogging up the Montrose Trail it is good to reach this part of the East West Trail and get the reward of walking along a gently undulating track through mature eucalyptus forest.

Now for another Barad Bunch cache contribution. This one was published on 23 December, 2014, a special occasion for us: some might say a gold connected day. Such precious materials can be used to specify a cache position. Accordingly this cache may be found at:

S 42° 50.(pearl + ruby * 20 + silver)'

E 147° 12 .(diamond + emerald * 9 + gold * 2 + sapphire * 7)'
