Come join in on the fun at Lake Ouachita State Park as we join in on the FIRST DAY HIKE!!

We will be there from 9:00 am to 12:00pm. There will be a nice warm campfire provided and warm drinks will also be provided.

FIRST DAY HIKES are part of a nationwide initiative led by America's State Parks to get people outdoors. Children and adults all across America will be participating in First Day Hikes, getting their hearts pumping and enjoying the beauty of a state park.

We are going to combine the FIRST DAY HIKE with geocaching and teach others about geocaching. As with all our Arkansas State Parks, Lake Ouachita State Park is geocache friendly and has trails to hike.

You will not be required to hike a trail. You will not be required to hike the entire trail.

We are going to be here to spread the word about geocaching and possibly hike on a trail or two.

Who knows, maybe we can get some muggles interested in geocaching!!
