This cache marks the 43 cache that I have hidden! It was also hidden on my 43rd Birthday. I have been toying with the idea of this cache for sometime and I finally made the decision to finish it and put it out for all to enjoy. Happy (Bird)day to me!!
This cache is located along the Coast Guard Beach Trail. You can park in the upper lot of Point Higgins school and enter the trailhead there. The cache is just off of the trail on a well marked game trail. It is not on the ground and the only tool you need to gain access to the log is attached to the outer box. The tether gives you enough slack to locate the "sweet spot" that will open the door. There is a log, pencil and some small trade items. After you sign the log and make any trades that you may wish, Please secure the tool in the original position then close the cache box inside. The weight of the cache box should allow the tool to return but not always. As this is my first one of this type please report any issues with the cache.
P.S. It is located far enough off the trail you should be invisible to muggles.
