Once again it’s time to invite you to plant some trees in the Forest of Marston Vale. Usually held in December but has been delayed for a couple of months, but this would be our 3rd annual tree planting event. Everyone’s welcome to get involved – it’s something that we should all do at least once!
It’s very easy to take part; stay as long as you like and plant as many trees as you like. Buses will run regularly through the day.
We will provide everything you’ll need for a great experience – trees, tools, and even a toilet – just wrap up warm, wear something waterproof on your feet and bring lots of enthusiasm and good cheer! Remember to bring gloves, boots, camera and pen!
Our Goal: As a group of geocachers, our aim is to plant together and have a fun experience! This is a great opportunity to teach young ones how to plant trees and the importance it has in our local ecosystem.
Geocaching: Within walking distance of the above parking coordinates is the 'Stewartby Lake' circular walk series which can be done before jumping onto the free bus shuttle or when you get back- so why not plan ahead and make a whole day of it?
We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Make sure you log a note saying "Will Attend" so we can have a good head count for the event. See you on Sunday 8 February 2015
