Winter Walk Day is a province-wide initiative to get Albertans up and moving during the winter months. Join a group of fellow geocachers on a 2 kilometer winter walk in Fish Creek Park.
We will walk in a peanut shape so anyone who cannot complete the walk won’t be too far from parking at approximately the halfway point. The trail system is extensive and we can go further than 2 km if an interest is expressed in doing so.
The terrain is mostly flat but some sort of anti-slip device such as Yaktrax would be helpful since there is ice under the snow in some sections.
