Geocache Description:

The first on a three cache walk.  One of Tassie's best rainforest walks.


Whyte River 2 and 3 and do not require stepping off the track but this one does.  Simply use a fallen tree off the side of the track to reach GZ.  A simple traditional cache [without a pen] to lure you into this beatiful part of the Tarkine.  The walk involves following the Pieman River and some of the Whyte River, the latter being known for platypus spotting and is famous for its display of Fungi in the autumn.
