Place:Flower Garden at CSU
Time to get our summer started off and rolling. This is going to be flash mob style to commorate spring and summer. Please come dressed in either the color of your fear or your favorite colored shirt. We will put everyone in line rainbow color style for a picture and then visit until we are ready to go. Photo planned for 6:45pm in the beautiful flower garden at CSU.
I have decided to put on an event around different kinds of Phobia's This is in no way meant to minimize anyone afflicted with any such phobia but meant for a way to acknowledge, and learn about them.
This event covers
Chromophobia or Chromatophobia: is a persistent, irrational fear of, or aversion to, colors and is usually a conditioned response.[2] While actual clinical phobias to color are rare, colors can elicit hormonal responses and psychological reactions
Potophobia:is the fear of the color purple.
Erythrophobia, Erytophobia or Ereuthophobia: irrational fear of the color red, often accompanied by fear of blood (hematophobia). Also fear of blushing; a distressing tendency to blush frequently.
Xanthophobia: is an intense, irrational concern of the color yellow. While, at first glance, this may seem like a foolish fear, it is rather real to the people impacted by this phobia. In its excessive form, the xanthophobic person may additionally feel an overwhelming fear of even the phrase yellow..
Leukophobia:Most people with this phobia may have had a bad experience with snow such as a snowboarding accident, or getting your car covered with snow thus they associate this bad experience with anything that is colored white. Some women may fear getting married thus they dislike the color white because it reminds them of the picture of a bride.
