This Flashing Mob gathering of geocachers will be only 30 minutes long and will be happening the same time and date all over the world and YES, despite Australia being 17 hours ahead of Pacific Daylight Savings Time (we will be also holding another event simultaneously with the US event at 0300 (3.00am) on Sunday morning for the fun of joining in with our worldwide geocaching family) we are holding this one as its the traditional time that everyone else will be meeting at. You MUST be present DURING this time to claim this event because after 30 minutes…we're gone
AGENDA
0945 - 0959 (9.45am - 9.59am)
Participants casually walk around Gateway Santuary by themselves (not in large groups) within a short walk of GZ but not in sight of GZ !!!
0959 - 1000 (9.59am - 10.00am)
Casually make your way towards GZ but as much as you can, act like a muggle, pretend not to know each other or give any indication that something is about to happen but STAY AWAY from the GZ until your GPS clock tells you it's 1000 (10.00am) EXACTLY

Everyone arrives at GZ. Capt.Roverman will be there with a treasure chest. As you arrive, sign the log book and then also sign a wooden coin thats goes into the treasure chest for the FTF. Dont forget to Mingle and Meet old friends and make new ones. Share stories.
*** Dont forget there will be the Trackable Display Table setup for anyone who wishes to place down Travel Bugs that need to be Traded, moved on or even just discovered (I think even the table might be a trackable too!).***
1015 - 1030 (10.15am - 10.30am)
The FTF wooden coin will be drawn from the treasure and prizes will be awarded (after the draw everyone is welcome to find and keep their wooden coin). Participants assemble for the traditional WWFM group photos and to record the group.<

IMMEDIATELY LEAVE the area. The area will be evacuated without a trace. The treasure chest will be packed up along with the log book.
*** Don't forget to grab any Trackables you may want, what ever is left over l will move on.***
If everything goes right we will have had people coming out of nowhere after gathering for 30 minutes, holding a geocaching event and then disappearing, for the Flashing Mob to have its full effect, it must appear to come from nowhere and disappear just as quickly.

UPDATE 11/05/15 - Have changed this from being a flash mob (flash generally meaning over really quickly) to now flashing (flashing generally meaning going from a little longer then just a flash). Thought of calling it a flashing mob instead of a flash mob due to the recent rule changes put in place by groundspeak indicating that geocaching events need to last for a min of 30mins and citos last from a min of 1 hour. For those concerned there will be no 'Flashing' of anything (ie: body parts) just so we are clear.
UPDATE 19/03/15 - There will be no Souvenir this year for the Flash Mobs around the world.
