W pierwszym etapie musisz odnaleźć na murze kościoła p.w. Św. Jakuba napis z datą. Nie będzie to łatwe zadanie, ponieważ jest słabo widoczny i zajmuje tylko 3 cegły. Podpowiedzią, która upewni Cię, że trafiłeś właściwie jest nazwa skrytki. Autorem tego nietypowego "autografu" jest domniemany budowniczy kościoła - Hieronim z Obornik. Rok który jest wyryty na cegle uznaje się za datę zastąpienia drewnianej świątyni murowaną. Dalsza część napisu składa się ze słów ANNO XYZ5. Aby uzyskać właściwe kordy lokalizacji skrytki finałowej musisz podstawić odpowiednie cyfry w miejsce X,Y oraz Z.
