WHAT A FEELING!

So the 80s happened.  There's no denying it.  And now we can look back with nostalgia and cherry pick all those wonderful moments that made the 80s special.  Foremost among those, in my mind... Cinema! 

MamaCass923 and I were having a conversation about 80s cinema on one of our many caching runs and I suddenly had the urge to dance!  Flashes of Jennifer Beals and Irene Cara burst into my psyche.  The next day in lab I was listening to great 80s movie tunes on loop when I learned that my students have never seen these iconic films!

What are we going to do about this collective loss of pop culture memory?  Have a geocachers' great films of the 80s movie event, that's what!  Join me (and maybe a couple of my geocaching, under-80ified students) for a viewing of Flashdance!  I'll bring popcorn and some drinks, but feel free to bring along any of your favorite movie viewing treats.  Stop by after work for the entire movie or pop in for a few minutes just to visit.  This is an evening of camaraderie with an excellent soundtrack!
