Come out to Prince Gallitzen State Park to celebrate National Get Outdoors Day and help out to clean up the park.
In conjuction with the DCNR and the Prince Gallitzen State Park park office, we can do our part as Conservation Volunteers!
Volunteers are to meet at the East Corner of the Muskrat Beach 2 parking area at 3PM to meet with park staff and get our clean-up instructions. Someone will be available at this meeting location from 3PM to 3:30. Groups will be coordinated to head out to various locations around the part to clean up picnic areas, parking areas, along the beach and along various trails. Clean-up efforts are permitted to continue until dusk, however, the event will conclude at 4pm.
Gloves and garbage bags will be provided.
Cachers need not stay for the entire period; however, in order to claim the smiley for this CITO event, cachers MUST take part in at least some of the clean-up.
