Join Washington area geocachers every First Wednesday (usually) of each month to enjoy some great food, see old friends, meet new friends, trade & discover bugs & coins and discuss all things geocaching. All are welcome to this family friendly event. Whether you're on your first geocache or your 10,000th, we have representation from all skill levels, ages and walks of life. Out-of-towners are strongly encouraged to attend.
June's event will be held at Max's in Wheaton located at 2319 University Blvd W, Wheaton, MD 20902 - (301) 949-6297. This place is considered by many to have the best Falafel and Schwarma in the entire Metro area. Wheaton Metro Station is within walking distance. Event time is 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm. Look for the large group of tables pushed together.
While there is a small one way parking lot in the front along University Blvd, that lot is usually pretty full. You're better off driving around to the back and using the parking lot there. There is a walkway that will take you back to the front after you park.
This event will also most likely be my last event in the area before I start my world tour. I've made a ton of friends through geocaching and I hope to be able to see many of you one last time before I leave.
