Geocache Description:

This cache was placed for the Cache and Release event in Beaver Dam, WI on August 29, 2015. The cache is NOT at the starting coordinates. Coordinates for the final cache are gained during a nice walk through one of Beaver Dam's best parks. Permission for the final's placement was granted by Evonne B.

This is a perfect puzzle cache to take your dog or family on as it follows groomed paths through beautiful Edgewater Park. You will visit the Hick's Overlook and some interesting obstacles along the way to the final.

Final is nearby at N 43 2A.BCD, W 88 50.EFG

Find the sign from the Boy Scouts describing the dog path.at N 43 29.462, W 88 50.697. Take the path that leads towards the balance beam.

You will come to a teeter totter. CD = the number of total rungs + 20

Next you will come to a tunnel. B = the number of letters in the spelling of its color (ie red=3)

The last obstacle is an A frame. A = the number of rungs on each side

Now that you have the latitude, continue to the right and over the bridge to the Hick's Overlook. Count how many steps you go up (including the top platform). FG = the number of steps + 14.

Head towards the blue water tower on a new path. Enjoy the pond and the slight climb. You have been walking a lot and may want to rest on the bench. E = the number of letters in the spelling of its color. Now find the final nearby.
