Geocache Description:

As in the previous caches (At world's End - Spectrum View and Pointy Peak) let me take you to new world's ends. This trilogy will be called (∆) Delta (∆), (Γ) Gamma (Γ) and (Ω) Omega (Ω).

The Map Overview :

Please visit:

(At World's End - (∆) Delta (∆) and >At World's End - (Ω) Omega (Ω) )

The GAMMA cache has been created for those of you wanting to explore a piece of heaven in the midst of nature. Come to see how Delta's beautiful Razim lake meet the Black Sea. Dare to this new challenge and you will discover a "delta" of colours, sounds and breathtaking landscapes.

The closest place where you can set your camp and rent a boat is DUNAVATU DE JOS village. YOU CANNOT REACH THE CACHES BY CAR. You will need to use a boat to reach those remote places. There are other villages in the area that can be uses as starting points: Crisan Village, Murighiol Village, or any other village scattered on the northern side of Razim Lake.

How to reach the Gamma Cache (this is one possible way of reaching it):

By boat, from Dunavatu de Jos village, follow the Dunavat Channel. Talk to your local guide to make sure he/she knows how to hit all the caches on the way. Once you reach the adjacent channel going down towards the Mustaca Channel (see map), the box is attached to a tree branch hovering over the adjacent channel's waters. Turning left from Dunavat channel to the adjacent channel use as a reference point the electricity wires above you crossing the adjacent channel (see spoiler pictures & map). The cache is attached to the trees on the left side (as you go down towards the Mustaca Channel) while you are almost under the electricity wires.

I would appreciate if everybody could share their stories/experiences/pictures (+ how you reached the caches). Enjoy your trip and keep the Danube Delta clean! Happy Caching! BWOOOO-HAA-HAAAA!
