Natural Jacuzzi Traditional Geocache

E: Locals have told us about a spectacular rock pool close to the beautiful Anse Takamaka. The pool which is located just over sea-level will regularly be refilled with seawater depending on tides and waves.
Although the rock pool is beautiful we do not recommend to go swimming inside. There have been reports that unexpected and big waves can pull swimmers out to the open sea. In this area the sea has very strong currents. Please use extreme caution approaching the pool. Watch children at all times. Please consider Logs and reports below. The area of the pool is very dangerous.
The trail starts directly at "Chez Batista" at the end of Anse Takamaka (trailhead see picture). If necessary you may ask at the restaurant for directions. For one way out to the pool you should count on 20-30 min. (following the red arrows). Please carry sufficient water with you. In between you need to climb a couple of blocks of granite. At the Cache close to an exposed palm tree (see picture) you can head down to the pool. However the pool is not visible from the Cache (see Pool waypoint coordinates). The Cache (a PET Preform) is located close to the exposed palm right of large granite block behind a stone under pieces of wood (see spoiler).



D: Einheimische haben uns von einem spektakulären Felsenpool unweit der wunderschönen Anse Takamaka erzählt. Der Pool liegt knapp über dem Meeresspiegel und wird je nach Stand der Gezeiten und Seegang immer wieder mit Meerwasser gefüllt.
Obschon der Pool wunderschön ist empfehlen wir nicht darin zu schwimmen. Es wurde berichtet, dass unerwartete und hohe Wellen Schwimmer ins offene Meer hinaus spülen können. Es herrschen sehr starke Strömungen in diesem Bereich. Bitte seit extrem vorsichtig in der Umgebung des Pools. Beobachtet Kinder zu jeder Zeit. Beachtet Logs und beiliegende Berichte. Beim Pool herrscht Lebensgefahr!
Der Pfad startet direkt bei „Chez Batista“ am Ende der Anse Takamaka (Trailhead siehe Bild). Nötigenfalls kann auch im Restaurant nach dem Weg gefragt werden. Für den einfachen Weg zum Pool sollte man rund 20-30 Min. rechnen (den roten Pfeilen folgend). Nehmt genügend Wasser mit auf den Weg. Zwischendurch müssen ein paar Granitblöcke überwunden werden. Beim Cache in der Nähe einer exponierten Palme (siehe Bild) kann dann zum Pool abgestiegen werden. Der Pool ist jedoch vom Cache aus nicht sichtbar (Pool Koordinaten siehe Wegpunkte). Der Cache (ein Pet Preform) befindet sich bei der exponierten Palme rechts vom grossen Granitblock hinter einem Stein unter Holzstücken (siehe Spoiler).



F: Les habitants locaux nous ont raconté d'une piscine de roche spectaculaire près de l’Anse Takamaka. La piscine est située juste au-dessus du niveau de la mer et elle est toujours remplie de l'eau de mer en fonction des marées et des vagues.
Bien que la piscine soit magnifique, nous vous recommandons de ne pas nager. Il a été signalé que des vagues inattendues et fortes peuvent tirer des nageurs dans la mer ouverte. Il y a des courants très forts dans ce domaine. Approchez la piscine de roche avec extrême prudence. Observez les enfants en tout temps. Considérez les logs et les rapports. La zone de la piscine de roche est très dangereuse.
Le chemin commence directement à "Chez Batista" à la fin de l’Anse Takamaka (trailhead voir photo). Si nécessaire on peut demander les directions au restaurant. Il faut calculer autour de 20-30 min. (suivant les flèches rouges). Prenez assez de l'eau avec vous. En passant il faut surmonter quelques blocs de granit. Arrivant au Cache près d'un palmier exposée (voir photo) on peut descendre vers la piscine. Depuis le Cache la piscine n’est pas visible (voir waypoint de la piscine). Le cache (un préformes PET) situé près du palmier exposé à la droite du grand bloc de granit derrière une pierre sous des morceaux de bois (voir spoiler).
