Geocache Description:

CITO at Jones State Forest

Geocachers generally practice CITO (Cache In Trash Out) during their caching adventures. Unfortunately muggles don't always follow the same practice. So, let's gather at W.G. Jones State Forest and do a bit of clean-up. And then when finished, take a hike and grab some caches (a little birdie told me there is a new series covering the southern half of the State Forest).

WHO? Everyone is invited!! Bring your friends, family, and caching buddies.

WHAT? Meet at the posted coordinates anytime from 0800 to 1200 hours and help us pick up trash. Trash bags will be provided. Please bring your own gloves and pokey sticks.

WHERE? W.G. Jones State Forest, Conroe, TX
Coordinates: N30 13.870, W095 29.910

WHEN? Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 08:00am to 12:00pm

WHY? Practicing CITO is just plain good for the State Forest! No one likes to see trash while caching, so let's help out by cleaning up.

CITO supplies and water will be provided. But you will probably want to bring extra water if you plan on hiking the trails to cache after you help with trash pick-up.

Click "Log Your Visit" on the cache page and select the "Will Attend" log so we can get an idea how much supplies we'll need to bring. After attending the event, choose the "Attended" log and share your experience and stories.
