The Arkansas 5000 Club 2015 Event Cache

The Arkansas 5000 Club cordially invites you to help Clark~Griswold, Ladybug Karen , and scottyw celebrate their 5,000th find.  Journey to the beautiful river city of Ozark on November 14, 2015 and join us from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Rivertowne BBQ (see posted coordinates for the location and please note that the restaurant doors do NOT open until 11 AM).  We will have achievement awards to present to these cachers in celebration of their 5000th find.  Your stories about their caching exploits are also welcome.

It is an Arkansas 5000 Club tradition to list the first geocaching log ever written by each of the new inductees on the event page celebrating their 5000th find:

This was Clark~Griswold’s first log, written on April 27, 2003, after finding GCB541, Beaver’s Lair:

This was our first time to go Geocaching. Took us a few minutes to find it, walked passed it once. We can't wait to go find another one. We took the tennis ball and sunglasses. We left some crayons. We are now hooked to Geocaching!

This was Ladybug Karen’s first log, written on March 19, 2011, after finding GC1ZBXT, Tower Heights Cache:

Please note that each attendee will be responsible for his or her own meal.   However, the owner of the restaurant has agreed that persons attending this event will not be required to purchase a meal.  But please do not bring your own food into the restaurant!
