This cache is located along one of the beautiful trails at a golf course and residential area SW of Vernon. When I first started caching and started to do some research, I came across a few other caches in this beautiful area many of which inspired me to place some of my own up here...once I got some more experience of course!
This cache itself is a "regular" sized lock & lock container. It is up to you if you want to park at the main parking lot up at the golf course (it would be about a 15-20 minute walk to the trail head from the main parking lot), or to make this a quicker find I have posted the coordinates of parking at a cul de sac nearest to the trail head. Once you have parked at or walked to the end of the cul de sac (see the waypoints listed), follow the paved trail up the hill. You will quickly see the trail head to the Longspoon Ridge Loop, this is the trail you will follow to find the cache. This is not meant to be a difficult find but it is very important as always to put the cache back exactly as you had found it. Thank you!
The theme of this cache is in it's title. I have put a massive amount of SWAG related to, Yes, I'm a Girly Girl...which by the way is so true! xo. Sorry, these gifts are mostly meant for the ladies however I am sure your lady wouldnt mind if you brought her home something from this stash! Please try your best to stick to the theme if possible and trade equal or up :) I have also left a TB in this cache. Orignially I had bejewled the outside of the container, in keeping with the theme, but I quickly descovered there was no way I could be 100% sure to keep these jewels intact (plus shiny objects aren't the best camo!! lol!!!)....I didnt want to risk them falling off and becoming garbage amongst this beautiful landscape. There is also a beautiful jewled compact mirror that is an FTF prize :)
My eventual goal is to put more caches along this trail and the many beautiful trails up at Predator. Once I can be sure this cache is a success I will put out more along this trail. We have yet to have a true trail series up here although there are three caches (which happened to be the 1st three I ever did) in the area called "Osprey", "Peregrine", and "Red Trail". These caches inspired me to start caching and I would recommend checking them out when up in this area if you haven't already. I also wanted to give a huge shout out to the lovely Mrs. of Groundhog & Shadow. Your advice and guidance were incredibly helpful in creating my first cache! Your caches are always inspiring and really helped me learn more about the awesomeness that is caching! xoxooxo
