Halloween - Legend of the Codorus Witches Traditional Geocache

I was walking around Codorus looking for a spot to hide my Halloween cache, when I stumbled upon an old picnic table, in a clearing that is quite overgrown, in the middle of nowhere.  The sky became overcast, the wind began to howl, and I thought I heard a soft cackling sound. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I turned and ran with all of my might.  Looking back, I was lucky to escape with my life.  (Or so my story goes...)

Legend has it that somewhere hidden within the woods of Codorus lies a small clearing that is hallowed ground to Witches.  For hundreds of years, come every Octobers end, Witches from near and far gather here to take part in the initiation of young Witches.  It is here that they gather around a withered old table, where spells will be learned, potions will be shared, and stories of hauntings will be told.  It is the time of celebration and a rite of passage; a time when the young Witches will receive their magic broom and take their first flight with all the other Witches on Halloween Night.  It is a grand celebration indeed, but very dangerous to Mortals.  It is said that one Witch will remain behind to guard over this hallowed ground, and should any intruder wander here in error they will be turned into a Bat or Black Cat for all eternity.  Beware my friends, for it is that very Witch who also guards the cache that you seek.
