Geocache Description:

The Bengals were founded in 1966 as a member of the AFL by former Cleveland Browns head coach Paul Brown.  The Bengals won the AFC in 1981 and 1988 but lost the following Super Bowls.  The 1990s and the 2000s were a period of great struggle for the team.  Following the 1990 season, the team went fifteen years without posting a winning record nor making the playoffs.  Since the mid-2000s, the team's fortunes have improved. Two years after becoming head coach, coach Marvin Lewis guided the Bengals to their first winning season and first division title in over a decade. After the acquisition of Andy Dalton as quarterback in 2011, the Bengals have made the playoffs each season, ranking highly among NFL teams in win totals.  The problem is, when it comes playoff time, the Bengals are yet to win a playoff game Dalton and Lewis at the helm.
