Geocache Description:

This is an event cache at the Mountain View Public Library about geocaching stories. Mountain View author Karen Allendoerfer (KarenLona) will read from her short story published in the anthology Geocaching GPS: Great Personal Stories, and will discuss how she came to write about geocaching. She will also provide an introduction to geocaching in collaboration with Geocachers of the Bay Area.

 


This event will take place from 2:30 to 4 pm at the Mountain View Public Library. Author Karen Allendoerfer will read from her short story, "Bobbing for Bob," about her and her husband's adventures diving for an underwater geocache in Hawaii. There will also be a brief presentation and introduction to geocaching in collaboration with Geocachers of the Bay Area. Participants will have the opportunity to find a cache located at the library after the event.

Parking is available on Franklin and Mercy Streets and under the library
