Geocache Description:

Happy Leap Year!

We are going to celebrate it with a walk/hike at the Biology Trails behind Southern University. The coordinates are where the trail begins.

To get to parking you turn on Morningside Dr. and park next to the creek.

I will link information relating to how to get to the biology trails. This event will start at 8:00 am thru 10:30am (or whenever we finish)

We will gather at the entrance from 8-8:30am. We will begin the hike at 8:30.

This is going to be a nature walk/hike. Please wear the appropriate clothing and shoes.

The hike will be around 2.7 miles approximate.

Bring a backpack with you with some snacks and drink. You are welcome to come just for the meet and greet and are welcome to leave anytime. I will have a log to sign. I will wait for everyone where the trail map is located.

I will be bringing vegan friendly snacks.

I hope to see you all there!

P.S: Dogs are allowed according to the trail map. It specifically says: Dogs must be fully controlled.
