2nd of 2 caches dedicated to GEOSCOUTER. The Kodak Moments (the locationless) is pertinent to the City of
Harrisburg only...also, these are brand-new markers NOT the typical ones that have been in place for 1/2 century...our goal is to document their locations & have photos long before the mayor's office releases the official map in 2003.
Grab your camera & GPS/r!!! It's time to log some historic Kodak Moments.
The idea for this cache DEVELOPED over the last few months when we noticed a goodly number of historical plaques going up in the City of Harrisburg (Pennsylvania).
A call to the Mayor's Office confirmed this new program and the fact that the 'maps' will not be printed until sometime early 2003.
Be the the 1st to document one of these new markers with your GPS and camera. To claim a 'find', 2 photos are required - one photo MUST include your GPS & the MARKER. The 2nd photo MUST include the SUBJECT of the marker. Include the location along with the lat/long coordinates in your log entry. Give a brief synopsis of the content of the marker. (Our photos/log are an example only, please add more 'color' to your log entry).
Same 'locationless' rules apply - one historic marker per cacher & no repeats on the markers. C'mon now, there are more than enough for many to have fun! Let's see which comes 1st, the 'official' map or the geocacher's 'map'!
