Located on the Barton Creek Greenbelt between Twin Falls and Sculpture Falls. It's off trail hidden amongst the remains of several old dry-stacked stone walls. When Barton Creek is flowing the two nearby falls are great swimming holes (for both you and Rover). You can also float or kayak for quite a distance as well. Even when the creek is dry, this is still a great area of the greenbelt for hiking and biking.
There are many access points to the Greenbelt; I would recommend against parking along the roadside at the trailhead closest to Twin Falls (just south of 360 where the access road loops underneath MoPac), I've had my window smashed in and lots of things stolen at this location. There is a trailhead and parking lot off of 360 at the bottom of the hill behind Brodie Shopping Center as well as several in the residential areas closer to the Sculpture Falls area. Parking at one of these might add up to an extra mile each way, but there's less risk and the extra walk on the greenbelt is worth it anyway.
This cache was originally placed by Eoghan and Pumpkin Princess in April 2001.
It was adopted first by Team GeoDillo in November 2004 and then by Indigo Parrish in January 2012. Enjoy!
