Indianer! Dieser Ruf schallte im Mai 2014 durch die niederrheinischen Wälder, als wir euch seinerzeit zum ersten TipiTipiTap nach Geldern-Walbeck eingeladen hatten. Jetzt ist es Zeit für das nächste Powwow!
Wir laden euch zum Event TipiTipiTap II ein, welches am 20. Mai 2017 in Geldern-Walbeck stattfinden wird.
Eventgelände
Das Tipidorf ist umgezogen - wie unsere nordamerikanischen Verwandten sind wir dem Pfad der Tiere gefolgt, und haben unser Lager verlegt: das Tipidorf Walbeck befindet sich nun am Schloss Walbeck.
Keine Angst: wir haben mit den Rittern Friedenspfeife geraucht und bleiben im Western-Thema ;) - wir werden aber natürlich die Räumlichkeiten des Schlosses für das Event mitnutzen.
Wir haben für euch wieder aufregende Spiele und ein tolles Programm in Vorbereitung - dabei könnt ihr auch wieder eure Geschicklichkeit mit dem Tomahawk beweisen. Unser neues Reservat am Waldrand ist etwas gewachsen und die niederländische Grenze ist immer noch nur einen Pfeilschuss entfernt.
Auch werden wieder ein paar fahrende Händler ihr Lager rund um das Tipidorf aufschlagen um ihre Waren anzubieten.
Weitere Attraktionen
Wie beim ersten TipiTipiTap beschränkt sich das Event nicht nur auf das Gelände am Schloss: es gibt wieder einige spannende Führungen und Aktionen, verteilt an den Sehenswürdigkeiten im gesamten Dorf Walbeck, das heutzutage für seinen Spargel berühmt ist.
Wie ihr es von uns gewohnt seid, sind die Entfernungen gut mit dem Fahrrad oder sogar auf euren Mokassins zu erreichen. Es wird aber auch wieder den Planwagen-Service geben, der durch den Ort Kreisen wird.
Anreise
Walbeck liegt etwa 8 Kilometer entfernt vom Gelderner Stadtzentrum, direkt an der niederländischen Grenze. Am besten erreicht ihr Walbeck mit dem Auto. Alternativ habt ihr in Geldern über den Bahnhof Anschluss in Richtung westliches Ruhrgebiet, oder auch an den Flughafen Weeze.
Genau wie 2014 bitten wir euch eure Kutsche auf einem der zahlreichen Parkplätze direkt im Ort zu parken und den Planwagen-Service zu nutzen - die entsprechenden Wegpunkte findet ihr hier im Listing. Zum Beispiel der Parkplatz und Wohnmobilstellplatz am Freibad (Stichwort: erstes TipiTipiTap) ist nur einige hundert Meter Wanderweg vom Schloss Walbeck entfernt. Es wird auch Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe des Schlosses geben - für eine gemütliche Anreise empfehlen wir die Parkplätze am Freibad oder im Ort. Der Trapper in manch einem Geocacher wird wieder seine helle Freude haben, wie schnell man hier seine Ziele erreichen kann, wenn man die Kutsche stehen lässt.
Wer einen Parkplatz in der direkten Nähe benötigt (zum Beispiel auf Grund einer Gehbehinderung, etc.), nimmt bitte über unsere Info-Postfach Kontakt zu uns auf. Das Gelände ist barrierefrei (fester Waldboden und Grasflächen).
Der Niederrhein ist sehr fahrradfreundlich. Wir arbeiten wieder mit der Firma Niederrheinrad zusammen, damit ihr rund um das Event eines leihen könnt. Die Buchung ist über unseren Onlineshop möglich.
Eintritt
Das Eventgelände ist nicht kostenfrei zugänglich und auf 1.500 Teilnehmer begrenzt. Zutritt zum Event bekommt ihr über den Erwerb eines Tickets über unseren Onlineshop.

Dieses Ticket berechtigt euch auch zur Teilnahme an den Spielen und an den weiteren Event-Attraktionen.
Beachtet bitte: die Teilnahme an den Führungen, Präsentationen und Schulungen ist begrenzt - auch auf Grund der zur Verfügung stehenden Räumlichkeiten. Hier ist eine zum Ticket zusätzliche kostenfreie Buchung der entsprechenden Veranstaltung im Onlineshop notwendig.
Hunde sind auf dem Eventgelände willkommen, können aber nicht mit in die Schulungsräume genommen werden.
Natürlich kann jeder Geocacher auch ohne Ticket das Logbuch erreichen - dieses befindet sich außerhalb des Eventgeländes und ist kostenfrei zugänglich.

Bitte beachtet hierzu: die bezahlten Tickets und weiteren vorbestellten Artikel werden nicht verschickt, sondern können von euch ausschließlich am 20. Mai 2017 zwischen 09:00 Uhr und 17:00 Uhr am Eventgelände (Checkpoint) gegen Vorlage des Abholscheins abgeholt werden. Um die bestellten Artikel auch rechtzeitig zum Event für euch da zu haben, können wir den Onlineshop nicht durchgängig bis zum Event offen halten - die Bestellfristen findet ihr rechtzeitig auf unserer Internetseite.

It was May of 2014 when we invited you for the first time to the forests of the lower rhine to attend the TipiTipiTap in Geldern-Walbeck. Now it's about time for the next Powwow!
You're all invited to our next Event TipiTipiTap II, which will also take place in Geldern-Walbeck on May 20. 2014.
Event location
The Tipi village has moved to another place. We followed the animals path like our north-american relatives did and as a result the Tipi Village Walbeck is now located at Walbeck castle.
But don't be afraid, we have smoked a peace pipe with the castles knights and will stay true to our western theme. We will also be able to use the castle's rooms for our event.
Currently we are working on the events program which will include exciting games for kids and grown ups alike. And one of your favorites will be there as well. So you'll be able to prove your skills in throwing the tomahawk. Our reserve will be at the edge of the forest and in comparison with the last event it's grown a little bit. Like last time the border of the Netherlands is just an arrow shot away.
As always you'll find some traveling traders at the event location. There you can buy Merchandise and other goods.
Additional attractions
If you attended our last TipiTipiTap event you'll know that it was not limited to the direct area around the tipi village. As with our upcoming event there will be more than just the area around the castle. There will be guided tours and activities all over the village of Walbeck which is popular for its asparagus.
The different locations will be reachable with a bike or even in your mokkassins. As a special service there will be a covered wagon circling through Walbeck.
Arrival
Walbeck is located next to the border of the Netherlands. Its only 8 kilometers away from Gelderns city center. The best way to come to Walbeck is with your car. As an alternative there is the train station in Geldern which allows you to reach the western parts of the Ruhr region. The next airport is located in Weeze.
Like 2014 we ask you to park your carriage on one of the many parking lots in the village Walbeck and to use the covered waggon service to reach the tipi village. You'll find the needed waypoints in our listing. One parking lot for your cars and mobile homes is located at the open-air pool which is only several hundred meters away from Walbeck castle. There will be parking lots next to the castle but for a comfortable arrival we recommend you to use the parking lots in Walbeck or at the open-air pool. Your inner trapper will be surprised how fast you can reach everything if you let your carriage behind at a parking lot.
If you need a parking lot in the immediate vicinity of the castle (for example because of a disability which makes walking difficult) please drop us an email in our info postbox. The area itself is barrier-free (firmer forest floor and grasslands).
The lower rhine is very bicycle friendly. To allow you to rent a bike we are working together with the company Niederrheinrad. You'll be able to rent bikes via our webshop.
Entrance
The event site is not accessible for free and is limited to 1.500 participants. You can get admission to the event by acquiring a ticket in our online store.
- Grown ups and teenagers older than 16 years: 7,- €
- Children from 7 to 15 years: 3,- €
- Children under 7 years: free
This ticket allows you to attend the different games and other event attractions.
Please note: the number of participants on the guided tours, presentations and trainings is limited - one reason is the limited space of the available rooms. To attend them you'll need a separate but free ticket which you can order in our online store.
Your dog is welcome on the event site. But please note that you are not allowed to take him with you while you are in one of our training rooms.
The logbook can be reached without a ticket. It resides outside the event site and can be accessed by everyone free of charge.

On this website you'll soon find our online store. This will be the place where you can buy tickets, coins, T-Shirts and other items.
Please note: the paid tickets and other items will not be sent to you. They can only be picked up at our event site checkpoint on May 20th, 2017 between 9:00 and 17:00 o'clock. To get them you need to bring your "collection note" with you. Either printed on paper or digital on your smartphone or tablet.
To ensure that all ordered items will be there on the event date our shop will close a few days before it. But don't worry, we will publish the exact date in time.
