Virtual Cache at National Museum of Naval Aviation. Very easy access. Plenty of public parking at Museum.
First Pensacola virtual cache, the National Museum of Naval Aviation is a must-see in Pensacola. It’s located on Naval Air Station Pensacola, which is open to visitors (with appropriate security check) during Museum hours. It includes an IMAX Theater, a huge collection of vintage aircraft, historically significant exhibits and even the bar transplanted from Cubi Point NAS in the Philippines. Brouse to (visit link)
The museum is not only a great place to visit, but also to begin a tour of the base, which is marked with F-14 signs pointing the route. Bicycles are a good way to do the road tour (helmets required) and to reach other virtual caches that may be available along the way. The base is the longest continually-occupied military installation in the U.S., dating back to the Spanish Colonial period, and there are a number of interesting sites that make the trip worthwhile.
