First Geocache for Mississippi. This is located on the outskirts of
the town of Meridian. The jumping off point is the beautiful Bonita
Lakes. There are many hiking/biking routes through out this area.
Tree coverage will be an ISSUE if you are using an older GPS. A
friend of mine joined me with a very nice high-end Sony GPS system
(4-5 years old) and his system had trouble keeping satellite locks.
I used the new Garmin eMap which seemed to work through the trees
with no problem. Total elevation climb will be around 550 ft. An
uprooted tree and the color blue will mark the spot.
