Brand new cache in place!
The cache is a small green aluminum military box with a proper log book and plenty of room for travel bugs.
All extremely child-friendly, also for the 30+ kids.
Please swap good stuff or else just take something and log it.

The original cache was turned into a major health hazard by the pigeons that guard the cache. This is a continuous batte against the flying rats ;)
About boats and water cycles
If you don't have a boat you can go rent a watercycle, or of you feel luxurious, one of those electric boats. The cache is about 15 minutes from the rental next to the Anne Frank house.
If you're a tourist, enjoy! The trip to the cache should get you off the beaten track.

About the cache
Look for the cache at the city side, in the middle of the bridge, next to the pigeon's nest, up there where it is dark and the sunlight obscures your vision.
It may be difficult or even impossible to reach if you are a short person alone on a canalbike. I really hope everybody can reach it.
The latest box has a magnet. Please try to put the cache upright against the beam to make it more difficult for the pigeons to sit and poop on it.
Finally: On sunny days It can be rather busy there with locals in their boat. Make sure you remain unseen while handling the cache!!! Do not blow the cover of this cache. Put the box back high up where it cannot be seen.
