Marigene this is for you! Miss you! So we had several DNFs. Met carndt777 out at the cache. Got back to GZ. Went right to it. Not going to give out any clues. There is a reason this is marked a 4 for difficulty. Put the new one back in its original spot.FYI, carndt777 is going to be listed as a maintenance person. So if there are issues contact us. Good one on the way to or from other caches. Right off a major highway. Some what easy terrain.
*** Updated Note 2023 - 09 -02 - ok. I had been watching what was going on. It started with some no finds. This is not an easy cache. That is why it is rated 4 for difficulty. But obviously something is wrong. Monday, labor day, i am going back up there. No matter what, there will be a new cache with new log book and some trinkets to take or be exchanged. It will be placed exactly where we started it 22 years ago. It still amazes me how long this cache has been around. Wow, 22 years! I will post a new picture of it. But if anyone finds the old one, please grab it so there isn't two of them and creating false positive. Will update again Monday.
*** Updated Note 2014-07-22 - This has been one of my most bestest (yes that is a word in my vocabulary lol) achievement. This cache has been going on for a very long time. We have had a lot of great TFTC responses. I do watch the finds and chuckle and get prideful on most. This is a great find. As you can see what TheOldMaster12 and others have said. To TheOldMaster12, yes it could be a 2 at the easiest. But as you have seen, (and well pictured and documented THANKS) there are several ways to this cache. Some are somewhat easy, but if you take another route you will have level 4 challenges. That is why I rated it what I did. Finally got logged back into geocaching.com and see the activity. I can not believe it has been around for 10 years and that it has sustained the popularity that it has. Thanks to all those that took the time to try to find. And there are many whom have found it. My life has taken a large amount of change. However we are going to start checking in on it again and because it has been 10 years since first placing it will be doing something special on the anniversary of this placement. Next update will be with in the next 4 weeks. See our logged note on this. Also, the container has changed. It is now a clear plastic container with a Blue top. *** 1st note...Please let us know what you think (send us an email). This is our first cache to hide. There are several ways to and from the cache site, some are more difficult than others. However you can walk trails most of the way no matter which route you take. One could include some climbing over some rocks. No bushwacking involved. Some steep inclines and sheer drops. May lose signal due to some heavy foliage cover. A really neat place most people would never see. We left the cache keeper....Dragu the Dragon. Please leave him to protect the cache :). Other items left include, Peter Pan figure, the precious travel bug, 3 mini key ring lites, 2 4-packs of AA batteries, 2 pencils, and the log book. We also left our trademark, one rubber pool ball, and the Wrestling Pin of course. Oh, yeah, and the parking coords are 43 58.617N and 89 30.036W. Final Note we apologize our Coords were off a little and have been updated. HAVE FUN!!!
