Geocache Description:

An easy to hike, easy to find, first cache located in Alexander Ramsey Park, the largest municipal park in the state (200+ acres) with 1.5 miles of paved hiking trails crisscrossing the Redwood River and Ramsey Creek with atleast six walk bridges and the waterfalls. This would a good candidate for the youngsters, spend the day or even camp overnight. There are two playgrounds, a zoo, and many places to picnic and fish in the park that is right next to the golf course. For a nice walk, start at the zoo, cross the Swayback Bridge, you will see the trail. If you see Les Pratt, go right. No need to go off the trail too far to find the cache. If you find the goods or not, you can continue on to the falls, take the east trail across the suspension bridge and up the hill to the water fountain and restrooms. Any downhill trail will get you back to the zoo, or you can explore the rest of the trail system. Our ammo box contains: a Rapala lure, four 1/4 oz. jigs, a lapel pin, and a fire extinguisher, 3 Sac dollars, a roll of nickels, plastic pipe wrench, a Canadian dollar coin, some light bulb sticky notes, and a couple of keychains. You might need bug spray. Please sign our book. Good luck.
