The 2025 WGA Spring Picnic will be held at Wyalusing State Park on Saturday, May 17!

Wyalusing State Park sit on the confluence of the Wisconsin River and the Mississippi River. The park consists of 2,628 acres of woodlands, marshes, prairies, and river ways. The park was originally established as Nelson Dewey State Park in 1917. In 1937 It was renamed as Wyalusing State Park and Nelson Dewey State Park was later reestablished in Cassville, WI. There are two family campgrounds, a group camp and an educational facility. There are over 14 miles of hiking trails, 6 miles of canoe trails or practice astronomy at the observatory.
A daily or annual Wisconsin State Park sticker will be required to enter the park. Buy one here

- Check In/Registration - 9:00 - 3:00 PM
- Nametag Pickup - 9:00 - 2:30 PM
- Geocaching 101 Class - 9:00 - 10:00 AM
- Meet at Shelter to find a Group to go out and Cache With (all-day)
- WGA Merchandise Sales - 9:00 - 2:30 PM
- Lunch Activities (Starting at Noon):
- Grills open for cooking: Noon to 2:00 PM
- WGA Kidz Club activities - 1:00 - 1:30 PM
- Chuck a Duck Game - 1:30 - 2:00 PM
- WGA member meeting OPEN FORUM - 2:00 PM
- Group Photo - 2:30 PM
- TB/Geocoin Exchange Table - All Day
Though the WGA formal agenda wraps up after the group photo, the shelter is available for use the remainder of the day. Feel free to use as a meet up point for getting together with fellow geocachers.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE PICNIC
- Your own meat to grill, or a lunch (if desired)
- Table setting for your group
- Lawn chairs if you want them
- Beverages for your group
- A food item to share (Suggestions below based on Last Name. This does NOT mean you're required to bring this particular item.)
- Last name A-H - chips or snacks
- Last name I-P - cookies or dessert
- Last name Q-Z - salad, vegetable or fruit

Membership in the WGA is not required to attend but it is free, so go ahead and sign up!
