A nice cache to pickup while traveling in or out of Iowa. Located right off highway with R.V. parking. Pemisson had been granted to place this cache,
We moved the cache since the old location is under construction. Still, no off trail for miles hiking so no getting pricked, poked, or soaked here. Bring a camera there is a nice view here. Please note that this area is closed after dark. This is a great place to take a long rest many things to do and see. Thought a cache here would be a nice companion to Traveler's Rest. There is also a few more caches around this area if you want to make a day of it. This cache is a small container,decon. box, 1x2x3in. so please only bring small items to trade. Please be sure to stop in the Visitor's Center and say a friendly geocaching hello. We did obtain permission to place this cache here, although I think they were a little skeptical of it. So show the staff how great we geocacher's are!
